Grant,
I have both programs. A newbie might enjoy the free
program at e-sword.net with the NT and LXX and several
older dictionaries and lexicons. I also refer to this
program. You might not like the inertia of Logos if
you don't have a newer, speedier computer. BW has
little inertia, it is a well written program but it
has a much tighter focus, for example, BW does not
offer commentaries. I prefer BW for my exegetical
stuff and concordance work, but i use Logos for access
to some other books. BW has a no questions asked money
back satisfaction guarantee (30 or 60 days). I think
you can get everything language related from BW than
from Logos, but I'm not positive.

Hello, My name is Grant Edwards and I am new to
b-greek. I am also
relatively new to studying greek and I had a software
question. I am
trying to decide which greek software to purchase. I
am a PC user, so I
have been told that my options are limited to Logos or
Bibleworks for
greek searches and research. It seems that recently a
lot of press has
been made about Logos' greek addins. Logos is now
able to perform all of
the complex searches. Does anyone know if the new
press on Logos is
true and would I be able to do everything with Logos
as I would with
Bibleworks? Any advice on this issue would be much
appreciated!! Thanks!!
