It is my pleasure to hear from you so soon. It is also great to know
that there is a Filipino B-Greek member out there in Tokyo! My students
are mostly Asians, and there are at least a few Filipinos every year. My
hope is that more Asians will join this wonderful circle of Biblical
Greek readers so that we may be encouraged and given new insights.

| I like the fact that the CD included in BBG has
| audio recordings of the vocabulary both in North American Erasmian as
| well as in Modern Greek pronunciation.

Thank you very much for informing me of this. I did not know that. The
CD of my Mounce copy, which I bought almost four years ago, probably does
not have the Modern Greek version. Maybe I should purchase a most recent
copy to give better follow-ups to my students (or simply for me to have
fun as a linguistic nerd!). As to the Modern Greek recordings, I have a
full set of cassette tapes recorded by a native speaker called AFHGHSH
PANOS ZACARIOY, from The Spoken Word of God, Inc. (SPCN (ISBN?)
7-90203-037-6).

By the way, I recently purchased an NIV dramatized CD set from Zondervan.
How I wish I could enjoy such a thing in Greek (or Hebrew (or Ilocano!)).
Apparently, it will be quite difficult for such a dream to come true in
our economic system . . . Well, keep loving Biblical Greek and
encouraging each other to learn more of this beautiful language!
