Hello,

Can someone give a rough approximation as to the ages of women being
discussed in Titus 2:3-4? ( PRESBUTIDAS and NEAS ).

The two main possibilities that I see for this passage are:
(1) Women of THIS age ought to teach women of THAT age; or
(2) Women of any age ought to teach any women who are younger.
25-year-olds ought to teach 15-year-olds; 70-year-olds ought to teach
50-year-olds, etc.

Which of these -- if either -- is correct?

About a month ago on this list, someone posted a long list of Greek
words that referred to women of various ages and stages of life. But
I didn't connect a definition to each word.

Thank you very much!

Ted Shoemaker
