It's because people who are looking at text critical issues, at the extent
provided for in the footnotes of the NA27, don't usually need a dictionary!

I pretty well agree with those who dislike the UBS4 font. The reason it is
distracting to me is that the font is just too light. While the Nestle27
doesn't help me to think more deeply, I too have wondered why there it
doesn't come with a companion dictionary.

As to the suggestion someone made to haul around A&G, well, that's a bit
"much" IMHO. I do find valuable the intermediate manual lexicon by
Abbott-Smith, which I actually like better than the Shorter Lexicon by
Gingrich and Danker if only because of the word origins listing for each
word, which also helps in learning vocabular.
