You will have several different suggestions (Wenham, Mounce, Croy, etc.,
etc.) in response to your question. Let me suggest that you look carefully
at each alternative before making your decision. Amazon.com lets you view
expanded images of many books of that sort. As one who taught Greek for
many years, I would note that you cannot expect to learn the language very
adequately from a textbook alone: you really need to be able to ask
questions as they arise to someone who can give you a helpful explanation
in those instances where the textbook is not clear. Some of the
give-and-take on this list serves precisely that function, and I can assure
you that the administrators of B-Greek want the list to be no less open to
simple questions from learners than to complex inquiries into difficult
Biblical Greek texts from more advanced learners (we are ALL of us
learners!).
Welcome to the list!
