As a beginning student you should buy the edition that your teacher
wants.
Generally, as a beginning student, you don't need any apparatus and
which text you choose is irrelevant. Buy the cheapest used one and
invest the saved money into a good lexicon.
If you want to buy a new edition, take the latest edition of NA-27. It
contains a good selection of variant readings, also some readings found
in P99-116, but these are few. UBS-4 contains more errors and has a
rather specialized apparatus.
Maybe you should also consider a good Bible program, like Bibleworks,
which includes lexica and morphological analyses.
Best wishes
Wieland
