I would say this view has contextual and grammatical
merit on the basis of the growing recognition of the
passive sense of PISTIS (that which is believed, the
writings themselves) as opposed to its active sense
(our trusting or believing in X). I would more so try,
"that which is believed is the title-deed pertaining
to all things hoped for." Certainly one's active
belief (as nebulous as that is) is not the ELEGCOS of
unseen things. Yea, our active belief is one of the
"things not seen." Most provocative!
