I was pretty sure this was the case and wanted to get in touch with our
former list-member Micheal Palmer about it, but since he's disabled all his
e-mail URLs to avoid spam, I don't know how to reach him. The project was
being supported by the Westar Institute and Micheal Palmer was one member
of the committee that was working on it. It is very sad that this project
is no longer underway;it was the second of two completed projects I had
hoped to see while still alive; fortunately the other has been consummated:
Fred Danker's revised BDAG, finally published in the Fall of 2000. But we
desperately need a full-scale grammar of Hellenistic Greek, not just of NT
Koine, but covering the whole range of usage from literary to the demotic
of laundry lists. I guess funding for this sort of work is harder than ever
to come by in these hard times.
