[B-Greek] I Tim 2:14 and GEGONEN

Thanks, Carl, for letting this topic come back into discussion. 
And, I obviously didn't totally exhaust my resources, as I failed 
to check Wallace (though his limitation of the aoristic perfect to 
narrative would have suggested that I Tim 2:14 is NOT an aoristic 
perfect, the near-chimerical beast that it apparently is anyway -- 
unless Paul's reference to the "narrative" of Eve's/Adam's fall 
makes I Tim 2:14 a "narrative" passage) and BDAG's definitions 
of "EN."

Your nice exposition perhaps also helps clear up for me the switch 
from the singular to the plural in 2:15, as he's seguing from what 
he has just stated about the STATE of Eve/woman to its application 
to all women. If we treat the perfect as a perfect, then the switch 
makes sense. If, however, it's viewed as an aorist, then I think it 
is more problematic.
