I've been poking around unsuccessfully with Accordance this afternoon
looking for a *simple* example to use for class. In particular, I'd like to
be able to illustrate the added specificity that a preposition can make that
is ambiguous with case alone. To do so, I've been trying to find an example
of the same basic phrase written both with and without the preposition,
e.g., "the love of God" written both as "hH AGAPH TOU QEOU" *and* as "hH
AGAPH EK TOU QEOU" (or something similar). I'm not concerned with what the
head word or modifier word is, just that it is a relatively simple example
and that there is a parallel example--preferably both from the NT, though
LXX is OK (& perhaps even Ap. Fathers). There is a similar example in Smyth,
sect. 1637, but is, of course, from classical lit. Any suggestions?
