A couple years ago, while teaching in a NT Greek Intro class, a student
asked me about future participles since temporal indicators slip away
outside of the Indicative. I talked about the temporal indicator of
participles being relative to the main verb. But the whole time, I felt
a little shaky. Would you venture anything aspectual? Any thoughts on
them, or the infinitives either? There are alot more infinitives, and 5
optatives and even a future subjunctive in the LXX (KATAISCUNQHS)

       Participle = 13
             AXWN = Acts 22:5
             APODWSONTES = Heb. 13:17
             GENHSOMENON = 1Cor. 15:37
             ESOMENON = Luke 22:49
             KAKWSWN = 1Pet. 3:13
             KATAKRINWN = Rom. 8:34
             LALHQHSOMENWN = Heb. 3:5
             PARADWSWN = John 6:64
             POIHSWN = Acts 24:17
             PROSKUNHSWN = Acts 8:27, 24:11
             SUNANTHSONTA = Acts 20:22
             SWSWN = Matt. 27:49

      Infinitive = 5
             EISELEUSESQAI = Heb. 3:18
             ESESQAI = 4
