You might look at QEOS in LSJ
(http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/cgi-bin/ptext?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0057%3Aentry%3D%2348292)

You may be thinking of the opening line of the Iliad:

MHNIN AEIDE, QEA, PHLHIADEW ACILHOS

where QEA is vocative and addressed to the Muse. Yes, there is a noun QEA
(gen. QEAS, dat QEAi, acc. QEAN; it appears in Homer and poetry, but the
standard word in prose is QEOS of common gender.
