Hello,
Excuse the "new-B" question, however this is something I've been thinking about. Now, I've read that the article in Greek is sometimes used in a demonstrative sense ("that" man, etc.). I've read that it sometimes gives emphasis.
Now, regarding Romans 5:1 and the part quoted in the subject. I printed out Romans 5:1 and put it on my wall (in Greek of course) so I often read it each time I see it. Now, the question is regarding the last part of the verse "TOU KURIOU HMWN IHSOU CRISTOU" (Rom. 5:1). Now, I was just wondering if all of the "OU," "HMWN," etc. of the verse is trying to emphasis something. Is it trying to emphasis "our" relating to the position Christians have in Christ? So would it be correct to say it is trying to emphasis something or am I missing something? Thankyou

HMWN:"intensify and emphasize the subject of that verb or show contrast to a previous referent" (from the Friberg lexicon)
