For a short, small, inexpensive lexicon of the Greek New Testament, one
might consider Warren Trenchard's A Concise Dictionary of New Testament
Greek. This provides short glosses, as well as principal parts and many
unusual forms. It certainly does not replace BDAG, but it is useful for
carrying around, and perhaps for introductory students who are unwilling
to spend the money for BDAG. It lists in paperback for $15 (US), and is
published by Oxford University Press. It is also available for a higher
price in hardback.
