And, other than the fact that it's in Koine Greek, it's not that much different than
Thomas Nelson's NEW KING JAMES VERSION, which is based on the TR/Majority
Text and indicates in the footnotes where and how it differs from UBS/NA -- is it?

I also think that the dire warnings about the RGNT, while somewhat valid, are missing
the purpose of the RGNT, as expressed in A. Phillip Brown II's post. If UBS would do
something like this, or if one could buy a convenient, inexpensive, slim, easy-to-carry
version of Perschbacher's REFRESH YOUR GREEK, then something like the RGNT
wouldn't be necessary or needful or potentially popular. But, UBS has not chosen to help
us out, and Zondervan has proffered their idea of a Greek help, despite its flawed (in
some persons' eyes) methodology. Of course, I haven't received mine yet to see if I
consider it a boon or a bane.
I assume there were cost considerations that made Zondervan decide to go with a Greek
text they "own" versus contracting with UBS to use the UBS4 text.
