A number of years back, when I was still teaching, I used a privately printed textbook by C. T. Ruddick very successfully. One of its virtues was the clarity of organization. Each chapter is has two sections. The second part always deals with the verb, while the first section covers the other necessary material. Also, after chapter twelve all the reading material was selected from Greek authors with no adaptation (except occasional omissions). I'm not sure whether the text is still available. If it is, I recommend it highly. William Hassold
