[B-Greek] pronouncing PEILATOS = PILATOS

I have determined through inexhaustive research that it should be pronounced pie-LATE-us, rhymes with "pie ladies."

Why?  Because I like pies, and I like pie-bakers, who are often (but not exclusively), ladies.

Somewhat more seriously, did anybody correct the original questioners statement that there are no long iotas in Greek?  Some scansion of Greek poetry would quickly cure that impression.
