Hi All,

I'd like to know how you do precisely translate Acts 1:1-2.
I mean, it seems me strange for one to say, for example:
"I wrote about all things Jesus BEGAN to both do and teach UNTIL the
day He was accepted above"

How could one _begin_ something _until_ some future time?

Is it possible that "began" is not related to "until"?

Does Luke perhaps mean: "I wrote about all things that Jesus began to
both do and teach, [me,
Luke, covering the period from that very time] UNTIL the day He was
taken above"?

For convenience here is the text:
TON MEN PRWTON LOGON EPOIHSAMHN PERI PANTWN W QEOJILE WN HRXATO O
IHSOUV POIEIN TE KAI DIDASKEIN ACRI HV HMERAV ENTEILAMENOV TOIV
APOSTOLOIV DIA PNEUMATOV AGIOU OUV EXELEXATO ANELHJQH

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Kiril Bratanov
