The text in question is ...TOUS NIKWNTAJ EK TOU QHRIOU KAI EK THS
EIKONOJ AUTOU KAI EK TOU ARIQMOU (If my transliteration is not correct,
please let me know Carl)
I recognize that the accusative pariciple is the subject of the verb
EIDON. This term seldom takes has a preposition following it, and how
is one to understand the three EK phrases that follow? Are they merely
to denote separation from the beast, his image and his mark, or is there
more here?
