[B-Greek] Teaching Greek in the Church...

I've taught using Mounce, Dobson (inductive, little
memorization), and Story & Story (GREEK TO ME).
My best success was with GREEK TO ME. Most "church"
Greek students primarily want to be able to read the
GNT, I suspect, as opposed to doing scholarly
translation or heavy exegesis. Other texts/grammars
often teach only words occurring 50x or more. In the
same amount of time, GREEK TO ME teaches all words
occurring 25x or more, a jump from 315 or so words to
630 or so words. Plus, the same basic grammatical
information is covered, in 1/3 fewer chapters than
Mounce. GREEK TO ME isn't perfect, but for the same
amount of effort (and it is still work - 1 hour a day,
5 days a week, plus class time, assuming 1 chapter per
week, is what I tell them) I think they come out at
the end being able to pick up a GNT and work through
it without having to search a lexicon for every other word.
