What was Lüdemann's "revelation" to which Joseph Weaks refers in his last
sentence?

Steven,
You are absolutely correct. It was an oversight on Jeffrey's part. He
posted that quick announcement in several e-lists, a few of which he
manages, and nearly all of which intentionally discuss (even
controversial) critical interpretive issues. The way the fluff is waded
through in many of those lists is that it is reserved for those with
some credential, ecclesiological or academic. Of course, B-Greek for
very good reasons insists such material is avoided.
In his very helpful and ongoing efforts to nourish and foster good,
scholarly religious exchanges in the email forums, he made this one
slip I'll choose to forgive him for.
Lüdemann has done splendid work, but as any who know his history can
attest, he went off his rocker a few years ago with his revelation.
Cheers,
Joe Weaks
