I am currently looking through MS 2427, Chicago's "Archaic Mark", a
manuscript which is extremely difficult to date. Suggestions range from
the 14th to the 20th CE.
Now in it I came across the form EISQE, which I think is modern Greek,
but I am not sure. Since about when forms such as EISQE or EISQAI were
used?
Best wishes
Wieland
