>Also, in Accordance at least, you need only hover the mouse pointer
over the word and the lexical info including gloss and parsing appears
in the instant details box. This kind of instant access can keep
vocabulary, especially those rare words (and those blimey 2nd aorist
passives) from being any hindrance at all to reading with some fluency.
This same kind of instant information is available in BibleWorks, either
5.0/6.0.
On brush-up tools, I have found Wesley Perschbacher's Refresh Your Greek a
great help. He has the entire text of the NT, with all words used 50 or
under footnoted with parsing, gloss, lemma, and usage information (for
participles, infinitives, etc.)
Although I disagree with his grammatical uses on occasion, the volume was
helpful to me as a 2nd year student getting ready to go into grad greek
classes, and even after teach 1st & 2nd year Greek for 5 years a handy tool
that allows me to refresh my memory on vocab and forms that appear with a
frequency under 8-10 times.
Unfortunately this resource is currently out of print and unavailable. I
couldn't find it anywhere. I see that back on 9/5/2001 Jim McGowan said he
found a place to reprint it at less than original cost, perhaps Jim could
tell us where that is if he is still on the list.
