What are the vowel rules for the Erasmian pronunciation?
How do you know if alpha is like the "a" in "man" or "father"?
How do you know if the iota is the "i" in "pit" or "machine"?
So far as I study multiple books and audio tapes, it seems to be hit or miss.
I'm driving myself a bit batty with this pronunciation thing. I've decided to
use "Strong's Greek Dictionary" as my model, since it's the most consistent
model I've found so far. I've decided I don't care what's the "best"
pronunciation. I just want a CONSISTENT model.
I need some more explanation that will support the pronunciation used in
"Strong's".
Is there anywhere I can find phonetic pronunciation like what is in Strong's
for the ending on nouns and verbs and such?
Does anyone know of a cheap source for a "Talking Strong's"?
