[B-Greek] making pdfs with embedded Greek fonts?

Greetings b-greekers!

Could anyone experienced at producing pdf files with embedded Greek fonts
(and willing to help me figure out how to make it happen) please email me
off-list? Or, if you think there's some generic "how-to" that would be
sufficiently on-topic for list posting, that's fine too of course!

I've been producing and printing a hard-copy workbook for my students, and
this time around I want to be able to just post it online, but I don't want
the students to have to download fonts; they may not even have MS
Word. The fonts I need to be able to include are Sgreek, Galilee, Bwgrkl,
SGkClassic, and TekniaGreek; I'm trying to also be prepared for my next
Hebrew workbook, for which I need Bwhebb, RHebrew, SHebrew, and
TekniaHebrew. Unfortunately, I've been producing Greek and Hebrew help
sheets, exercises, etc for some time and in all these different fonts. I'd
sure hate to have to re-type them!

I've been playing with the free trial version of PDF Factory (from
www.pdffactory.com but (1) not all the Greek displays as Greek if the
computer doesn't have the font installed and (2) sometimes on my computer
(which has all the fonts) the Greek text looks OK on the screen, but then
prints without accent and/or breathing marks.

I'm willing to spring to buy the full Acrobat program, even, but of course
would rather not if I don't have to. And in case I'm just missing some
fundamental part of the "embedded fonts" idea, it would be money wasted anyway.

Thanks in advance for the wonderful help and support of this list!

Susan Jeffers
