[B-Greek] LXX vs. Masoretic

That is incorrect. The LXX of the OT is a translation from Hebrew, with
widely varying translation philosophies reflected throughout. Anyone
familiar with Hebrew and composition Greek vs. translation Greek will have
no doubt on this point.

Okay Eric, I was not looking for quite this short of an answer.    I have
always thought that the MT was a Hebrew back translation of the LXX.  Is
this right or was there Hebrew texts that were used?

Short version: God gave it (or at least the
Pentateuch/Torah) to Moses. :)
