Bart,
I use the Jewish Publication Society (JPS) version of the Tanach in English
are the quick reference translation of the MT that is clean of any Christian
modification from LXX in the Old Testament.
Most major English translations do footnote the areas where they choose to
follow the LXX rather than the MT, but you can't count on it. This is
especially true in "reader" rather than "study" editions.
