This of course is a very minority position. I would
prefer this to have been written in a more scholarly
manner and tone. Stick with Wallace's balanced
approach. You are correct though, the debate is on
this very issue of the temporal nature of the
Indicative Finite Verb. I saw some excellent comments
on this very issue in our archives. See particularly
comments by a Mark Wilson.
