The rough breathing is said to come from H (capital
HTA), cut in half virtically, forming the rough
breathing (left half) and smooth breathing. Is this an
educated guess or is there an ancient source that
actually states this.
Also, PNEUMA is said to be pronounced with both P and
N, as in PNeuma. Is this an educated guess or is there
evidence for this?
