While searching the archives for something unrelated, I found a post that said; "According to Zerwick, the dative of place is absent from the NT". (I assume that this means a dative indicating place without the use of a prepostion).
Two translation exercises from "Essentials of New Testament Greek" by Summers read as follows;(paragraph 17 line 11) BLEPW TON GAMON TWi OIKWi and (p 20:2) "hO MAQHTHS BLEPEI TON PROFHTHN THi EKKLHSIAi".
In order for these two line to be 'typical' New Testament Greek, should there be the preposition EN in front of TWi OIKWi and THi EKKLHSIAi?
Thank you
