Yes, Harold, I am not excluding "Jew" completely, and sometimes the context requires "Jew" as definitely as in my examples it requires "Judean".

gloss as well, when the term has a broader, ethnic meaning. In the Bible
the ethnic idea is associated with cultural ideas and usually but not
always (Egypt) political ideas. Yet the same is true to a degree today.
