Paul, I agree with George that ESV is taking PALIN as a modifier of
ELQEIN and that this is the natural way to take it in the Greek. I
think its location has to do with the presence of MH and the natural
association of the two in this kind of expression ("not again;" see Gal
5.1; Heb 6.1).
