For reference,

NA, Aland's Synopsis, BDF, Louw-Nida use the tilde form,
UBS, Rahlfs LXX, Loeb, BAGD, LSJ, Smyth, Hatch-Redpath use the lunate form.

I personally slightly prefer the lunate form, but the tilde form looks
somehow more ... Classic. It seems to me that more a more rounded typeface
should use the lunate, and a more angular typeface the tilde. Unfortunately
the GIF attachment did not come through.
