[B-Greek] Re: UBS4th Edition printings

"Why do you need a leather GNT?" - Because it is the Word of God and I
would like have a nice copy that has a leather binding. That way it doesn't
wear completly out in a matter of a year or two with "normal wear." Leather
bindings don't only look nice, they last longer as well.

"Currently the 5th printing is active which includes the latest papyri finds
(see below). If you are only interested in the Greek text itself, you can
buy whatever printing you want, but if you are interested in the apparatus,
you should definitely buy the latest print." - This is interesting. I
have literally spent two days just sitting here researching this and this is
the first time I have been made aware of a "5th printing." Bibles.com, who
is the American Bible Society's site (further, who is authorized by the UBS
to sell them in the USA), states that their copy is the 3rd printing. The
3rd printing is also the latest that I can find anywhere on the net. I am
not doubting you, I just can't verify it.

Thanks for the info. I don't know what I am going to do. Part of me wants
this item because it is a full $30 USD off of the retail price and it is
practically unharmed. On the other hand, I am one of those people who want
the latest information I can have.
