No. The root of AKOUW is AKOf (where "f" is for digamma); AKOLOUQEW is a
denominative verb derivative from the adjective AKOLOUQOS, compound of A-
sociative and the old Homeric word for path/road, KELEUQOS, and would mean
originally "accompany on the way."
