MOI is generally not translated. Cannot the dative of possession be
translated here?
Peter said, "I have no money WITH ME (in my possession), but what I do have
(possess) this I give to you"

This is not a dative of possession. the verb hUPARXEI is a 3 m.s. and is an
existential verb which therefore simply means "it exists" or in this case with
OUX "it does not exist" MOI is thus a dative of respect "it does not exist
WITH REFERENCE TO ME" or simply "I don't have."
