Concerning KTASQAI, how does "to obtain" (infinitive)
become "you could obtain"? It seems similar to an
attendent circumstance participle that "converts" to a
finite verb translation.

First, it is probably best not to base one's Greek syntax analysis on an English translation.

The infinitive KTASQAI is an infinitive of indirect discourse with a verb of cognition (ENOMISAS). The accusative THN DWREAN can be the "subject of the infinitive" if KTASQAI is passive (hence, "because you thought that the gift of God could be obtained by money) or it can be a direct object if KTASQAI is taken as deponent (hence, "because you thought that [you] could obtain the gift of God with money"; the "you" is supplied from the main verb).
