OFF-LIST: Eddie, since the focus of B-Greek is understanding the Greek text
in its own terms rather than translation, you might want to consider
joining and taking such questions as you're raising here to the Bible
Translation list, which focuses strictly on translation issues and
frequently discusses the rightness or wrongness of translations of
particular Greek and Hebrew texts. Here's where you can find information
about the list:
http://www.geocities.com/bible_translation/list/
I'm not saying that you cannot pose questions about problems of conveying
particular phraseology in Hebrews, problems that involve the proper
understanding of the Greek. But if what you want primarily is feedback on
your proposed translations of individual verses or larger segments of the
text of Hebrews, the preferable forum for that purpose is Bible_Translation.
