[B-Greek] A fork in the road

In the words of Yogi Berra (I believe): "If you come
to a fork in the road, take it."
As you know, Mounce's book/format is based on doing
chapters 1-14 with no verbs until chapter 15, and he
states that it's still his preference. He offered the
"fork" option for those teachers who wanted an earlier
introduction to verbs. Neither is like most Greek
grammars which introduce both nouns and verbs from the
beginning.
I don't know if Mounce has been soliciting feedback
from teachers as to which track seems to work better,
but maybe you could e-mail him at teknia.com. I'd say
go on with the book in its normal order (i.e., 1-14),
esp. if you're teaching yourself, so you won't have a
"vocabulary gap." That way you'll have nouns down pat,
including those pesky third declension nouns! But
whatever you do, make sure you have the paradigm of
the article (7.10, p. 48) memorized thoroughly.
Best wishes!
And ... I am not a professional teacher, so my opinion
of which track to take is just personal, not
professional.
