Hi Mitch,
Don't ask me the question... ask Bauer or Danker or Lidell or Scott or 
Louw or Nida, etc. You've been studying a Greek for a year now, haven't 
you? You have enough Greek now to get a good lexicon. Always remember 
that simple glosses are really oversimplified kernels conveying a 
common meaning, but are wholly inadequate for doing the kind of 
interpretive questions you're asking. Any good lexicon will give 
references that show that PORN- can refer generally to any number of 
sexual taboos. Prostitution is perhaps the most common, but it can 
simply be used to mean something like "sexual misconduct".
