Praise the name of the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph.[NKJV]
2:5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you
have been saved),
2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ
Jesus,

This is a very mysterious event. The Bible is a book of full of mystery, because His name
is wonder-full(Isa.9:6).
I thought about this matter for some years.
It is true as Arie says. There are things "already-not yet"in the Bible. The "not yet" is
easy to understand. It's a future event It's true we are sure to be so. But how should we
understand the "already" event? This is not so simple I think.
In Romans 8:30 there is a similar question.
Rom8:30
8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also
justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
(G)
8:30 ou}" de; prowvrisen, touvtou" kai; ejkavlesen: kai; ou}" ejkavlesen, touvtou" kai;
ejdikaivwsen: ou}" de; ejdikaivwsen, touvtou" kai; ejdovxasen.
"Called",OK, "justified",OK. We were called and justified when we belived into Him. But
how about "glorified"? Not yet we are glorified. But Paul says "glorified". This is "
edoxasen" 3per. sing. active, aorist tense. How should we understand this aorist tense?
Some says this aorist is the future aorist. I had some comment on this matter in the
ibiblio, but this discourse is out of the category of the site, I stopped to write more.
This is a matter of the incarnation of Christ.
"From the beginning of His incarnation, Christ involved all things in His flesh."
This is typified by the Ark of Noah, and the cherubim woven on the veil in the tabernacle
of Moses.
Gen. 7:7-9
So Noah, with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, went into the ark because of the
waters of the flood(7). Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of
everything that creeps on the earth(8), two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male
and female, as God had commanded Noah(9).
You know these famous verses about Noah and his ark. God said to Noah to make an ark and
they made it (Gen 6:14-16). Then, his family and many couples of animals went into the ark
(Gen 6:18-20,7:7-9). This signifies Christ's involving all things into His physical body.
The Tabernacle of Moses (Heb 10:20, Ex 36:35)
by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
(Heb. 10:20)
And he made a veil of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen; it was
worked with an artistic design of cherubim.(Ex 36:35)
The veil of the tabernacle signifies the flesh of Christ Jesus (Heb 10:20).
The tabernacle was separated by the veil (Ex 36:35) to the Holy of Hollies and the Holy
Place. On this veil the cherubim was woven. It was of a living thing like a bull, an
eagle, a man and a lion coupled signifying all things. It is clear that the cherubim was
woven on the veil since it was made. This signifies that from the beginning of His
incarnation all things were woven, that is, involved into His flesh.
So, when He was conceived into the womb of Mary of the Holy Spirit all things including '
us' were involved into his flesh the physical body. And when He was born of Mary and laid
in a manger at Bethlehem, while He lived with His family, while He was walking in Judea
and on the sea of Galilee, and when He went to the cross, all things including 'us' the
chosen people, were with Christ Jesus in His flesh.
When Jesus died the veil on which cherubim was woven was torn in two from top to bottom
(Matt 27:50-51).
This means that all things including "us" were crucified with Christ under God's
sovereignty.
What are these "we"? They are the "we" involved in His flesh in His incarnation two
thousand years ago. I call the "we" the 'objective we'.
