Yes, that would certainly seem to lend weight to your suggestion. And it also
answers Wieland's question about whether an infinitive in indirect speech
here would be consistent with the first person ERCOMAI. I don't think it would.

The TR and M [supposedly the same] have here, rather than EV hOi ERCOMAI, EWS
ERCOMAI. Corresponding to Jerome, dum venio, written before or the same time
as A and B and perhaps after A. Both Jerome and the TR can easily translate
"until I am returning." Indicative present middle. It seems rather difficult to
make of EN hOi, until. John 21:22 has this same prepositional phrase, EWS
ERCOMAI, and here also I see no need to render it other than, "until I am
returning." And Jerome has here the easily recognized, donec, until.
1 Tim 4:13 is the only other instance of EWS ERCOMAI and the sense is
certainly, "Until I am returning…"
