I think you'll find that D. A. Carson's  _Greek Accents: A Student's Manual_
(Baker, 1984) still to be one of the most concise and helpful introductions
on the subject.

If you are learning from Mounce's textbook, his Morphology of Biblical Greek
is certainly worth a look.
