ARKITEKTWN QEMELION EQHKA, ALLOS DE EPOIKODOMEI. hEKASTOS
DE BLEPETW PWS EPOIKODMEI.
A recently published book interprets hEKASTOS as follows, 'each of the
builders who
are included within *the collective term ALLOS* .'
My question: does ALLOS admit a collective sense? Or more generally, is
it possible
that, despite the singular form ALLOS, Paul might mmean here not,
'someone else is
building on it', but rather, 'others build on it'? I don't see how, but
maybe I am missing
something.
Many thanks,
Paul Toseland
