DUNASAI

If someone takes something personal from you, do not
ask for it back; for neither are you able???

Does TO SON mean "a personal item or belonging"?

And what does DUNASAI mean here? Perhaps OUDE GAR
DUNASAI goes with what follows, but I'm not sure.
