[B-Greek] Alexander Pope in Greek

Alexander Pope's Essay on Criticism has the oft misquoted lines
A little learning is a dang'rous thing;
Drink deep, or touch not the Pierian spring;
There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again.

Do any of the Classical Greek authors have something similar in content or idea to this? I would like to have a more appropriate inscription for a Greek New Testament that will be a gift this Christmas for my sister-in-law.

Thanks,
