Has anyone ever written proficiency guidelines for Koine Greek?
These guidelines look to have been prepared for modern languages, but I think
I am able to apply the levels to Koine.

I was surprised to realize my son and I have moved from the novice to the
intermediate level in reading and writing Greek. I tend to be a horrible
curriculum hopper so we have not made much headway through any particular book, but it
looks like we have learned more than I thought we had.
For example we can easily compose full sentences in the present tense, which
appears to me to be in the mid intermediate range. I had been thinking of that
as novice level, and phonics as being a preprimer level.
It was interesting to decide what level we are currently at, and which level
is my goal for each of the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
My goals are much lower for speaking and listening, than they are for reading
and writing.
I find the idea of guidelines to be more helpful than number of chapters
completed. I just wish I could find something like this written for classical
languages!
