So far, we have heard mostly of colleges offering Biblical language minors (maybe someone can recommend a college that has a good BL minor program). Undergrad majors in this BL, especially one at least somewhat consistent with the reformed faith seem rare.

When you mention biblical languages you would do well to consider reaching a high levels (=fluency in language use). I don’t know of a school in the US that will do that or even aims for that with Hebrew or Greek.

Thinking modularly, you may be interested in the special one-year program now at Hebrew University, designed for Christian biblical studies majors, that takes students to levels of Hebrew in one year that are not achieved elsewhere. There is nothing like being able to read the bible that Jesus read within the language. Some Greek is available, too, during that year, but you cannot expect to reach a functional use of both Hebrew and Greek in one and the same year. ☺ Please see www.biblicalulpan.org “courses” “undergraduate year abroad”. The pilot program is running this year and we have a “homeschooler” among the students doing very well.

(I would be happy to discuss theological dimensions about the program though they are best done privately and offlist.)
