[B-Greek] Zondervan's Greek New Testament

I checked the American Bible Society's website (www.bibles.com), and they do
have a leather-bound NA-27 (ISBN 343805101X). They also have UBS4 in a
leather-bound edition (ISBN 3-43805-111-7). Does anyone know if this is
really good quality leather and binding?

I didn't get my hands on Goodrich until I'd already required my private
students to get NA-27s, which they would have needed anyway. I can take or
leave the glosses, but the thing that endears me about Goodrich is that it's
so beautifully bound and pleasant for devotional reading of the GNT (ala
Machen), which I want to encourage in all forms.

Too bad the NA isn't available in a beautiful binding like that that would
be more suited for travel, devotional reading, and use in church. I have
seen so many Greek scholars carrying battered and taped old Nestle-Alands
around: that binding is just designed to sit on a shelf, if you actually use
it, it falls to pieces in a couple of years. Even the "leder" edition is
not that attractive, although it's a little more durable.

I think the GNT should be our pride and joy and thus should be available in
the same devotional formats (ie, beautifully printed and uncluttered) and
lavish bindings any NIV or NASB can be found. The world needs pocket
editions too! I located a mint-condition NA-26 pocket size and then had it
rebound in Kangaroo leather and personalized. Cost me $100 though.

I also wish there was a good LXX edition in a nicer binding and more
accessible format. Ralf's is great but it's a bit daunting for someone who
just wants to read the LXX without reading discussions in Latin about the
meter the verse is written in. It's expensive and huge to carry around too.
