Hi George,
The conditions in Mark 6:8 are different then in Luke 9:3: They had come to
His own country of Capernaum. The folks of Capernaum were faithless and Jesus
and His disciples were unable to perform many miracles there. In Luke 9 the
conditions were favorable and He had been performing many miracles in towns
and villages in the country side, folks were prepared by faith and expected
miracles and were seeking Him out.
